Bandhini has a magic quality: vibrant colors, striking combinations, swirls, and dramatic twirls.“Bandhini” is named after the Hindi word Bandhan, meaning tying, connection, relationships, and, therefore, tying-up. Bandhani is an ancient art practice primarily in western India. Bandhini is the art of Rajasthani to tie little dots on a cloth with a continuous thread and dye it. The result is a vibrant and uneven mixture of vermilion and saffron, emerald and sapphire, or aqua and yellow.
